Anyone have a suggestion for a decently priced 27" 1440P 144hz monitor?

I think you can get that same deal on Amazon I know not everyone is a member of places like Sams or Costco.

 

I'm gonna throw a slickdeals alert on it and see if it drops a bit at other retailers.

 

Usually my advice on screens is to LG or Samsung, they're the industry leaders for a reason.

 

I agree and disagree. On their top of the line stuff, sure. On their budget friendly you can usually find cheaper and much better with other brands.

While I don't disagree like I own a TCL tv in my office for a reason but I will tell you this you weigh what matters...

I can get an 85 inch Vizio cheaper than a 65 inch Samsung even though they both say 4k, that Samsung picture is significantly better. You have to way what you value if you value picture quality Samsung is 1 with LG close behind but you will pay more for that quality.

 

I know. I have had Samsung and TCL. The TCL is much better than the Samsung I had and they were both released at the same time.

Their top of the line tv's are much though, I agree.

Is the TCL picture better or do you just mean that it functions better, I've known several people who have had issues with Samsung TV's being finicky as fuck, I've had a few.

 

It looks better compared to the higher priced Samsung, and has more features. Higher peak brightness, better HDR, Dolby Vison, auto game mode, and better integrated smart system (Roku).

It has issues though. Motion is not as good as I would have liked. They messed up some features in an update, and still haven't fixed it.
