    If only Prolific had a ratings page like Turkerview there would be some angry people and ratings for this requester. I took a 15 minute survey for $2.25 pounds and they said I took the survey too fast. What a joke!

    Dear participant,

    The instructions/consent page clearly states that any participants who complete the study in a time that is much less than the estimated time frame will be rejected as it would be considered far too fast for you to have completed the study meaningfully. This means that any study that is completed within a time frame that is 3 standard deviations below the mean (as per Prolific's policy), will unfortunately be rejected. Prolific indicates that you completed your submission in 00:14:38: unfortunately this, as mentioned prior, is far too quick for the data to be of any significance.

    After contacting Prolific it came to my attention that rejections can cause penalties, therefore, I am kindly requesting you to withdraw your submission from my study in order to avoid those penalties.

    Please contact me if you felt anything was particularly unclear.

    Something similar happened to me on Prolific and so I stopped doing surveys there. I know they pay better but requesters are so bad at estimating how fast people read that I didn't want to bother.
