Has MLDataLabeler lost their damn minds?!? Transcribe FORTY images for 2 pennies?? Wow have the mighty fallen. I used to make $50 an hour on their hits but they just keep getting worse and worse.

Exactly. I miss the days when huge batches of .25+ bounding boxes were still a thing.

 

The semantic segmentation hits were my favorite, I could do those .70 cell ones in under a minute easily. Now those hits seem to be qualed but even the qual has a qual.

 

Listen man.. they just want to make sure the people are qualified to take the qual hit so they get quality work. Maybe they should add another layer on top of that so no one ever does their work ever because that's what it seems like they want lol.

This. Back then there'd be batches of mindless work like, "Which image is more clear?" for about $0.05 a pop and thousands in a batch.

 

4-5 years ago you could do 50 a day if you wanted to and do it in a decent amount of time, today if that is your goal you are going to bust your chops for it.

A lot of the really good batches that cut time off the work day or just let you do things in between solid survey hits don't exist anymore. Most days I would make half my goal on a good batch that didn't last more than maybe 30 minutes.
