We are in Pennsylvania. This is our first time trying it this year. My kids have enjoy ordering the caterpillars through the mail and raising painted lady butterflies but have never had the chance to raise Monarchs. I keep watching them to make sure they are ok, just like a new mom. lol

Lol, I know how that is. As long as you provide fresh milkweed every day for them and keep the enclosure clean (I clean mine out 1-2 times a day, depending on how many caterpillars I have... they poop so much!), they should be fine. But it's fun to check to see how they are doing. They grow so fast!

I wish you the best with it and can't wait to see more pictures as they grow. : ) I'll try to post some when I have some spare time.
