Wait.. was it that "Down" dating app or whatever its called that wants tons of personal information to sign up for? It pisses me off that Userbob is still letting them post that hit when it's clearly a fishing attempt because you literally can't give fake information or it doesn't let you sign up and userbob hits say to give fake info if there hits ever ask for it yet you can't complete it without verifying a phone number, etc I've always thrown that one back

 

They gave me the warning last week. I emailed them and got nothing back so never thought too much about it but just did now because both days used my phone and bot were from userbob.

This teaches me not to do phone HITs. I don't access any of my accounts with my phone, but lately I've been tempted to try phone HITs because it's so slow. Nope. Today I learned.

 

If your phone is on your wifi then it shouldn't show as coming from any place different than your normal connection. Suspicious phone apps is a diff story

I used the down app like User bob said with a fake number. I have no idea why this would cause a problem. I really am lost. I sent an email and they just said that the correct action was taken seemed like an automated response because came 2 minutes after I sent the reply. I am really not sure how I am going to make it.

I'm sure it was automated or basically even if a person sent it. Dealing with customer service depts now is a nightmare, particularly with larger companies like Amazon because they use outsourced customer service that has no idea what they are doing and they just use scripted responses with zero thought...you're going to need to put some work into reaching someone who can actually help you

 

I would call whatever account support number you can find. Call and ask, "Can you help me?" Let them respond a bit, and then tell them you're worried someone got into your account, and you are very concerned someone may have access to your banking info. If they detect panic in your voice they may realize you would not be sharing your account.
