I have heard that excuse get thrown around from requesters once an IRB steps in as it lets them deal with it without being fired or w/e.

Is there like a catch to this?

 

Yeah it is basically a scam to get you to give the guy referral money. If you actually want to sign up for arcons I suggest getting a code from somewhere here as there are plenty of people that can give you one. (Not me)

Pros:
Easy enough to complete. Watch a set of 30-ish words and, later, try to recall the word on the right. Solve a dozen or so addition problems. Do all of that twice and that's it.
Cons:
Each page was timed. This made it tedious and took longer than necessary. For instance, I was able to solve the math problems quickly...but then had to wait additional time before the next on appeared.
Also, this HIT required full attention throughout, which makes the pay pretty meager.
