ABOUT MY JOURNEY TO MASTERS and after ...

At the time I got my Masters, batches was all I was doing. I didn't know that more than one person could do a hit that only showed one hit available. I didn't have a clue until I started to read more about MTurk in a now defunct work at home moms forum and then a few folks in the social thread over at Leapforce were "talkig junk" about MTurk..I opened up Google and let my fingers do the walking ...

I was making good money there but there were "times" when work was a bit slimmer than usual and I would open up MTurk and grab up some pennies while waiting for the good stuff at Leapforce. I retired after seven and a half years there and stayed with MTurk to try to keep my mind sharp and busy. Suddenly one day I noticed I wasn't seeing captchas any longer. I thought maybe something was broke, but I went blazing through batches like there was no tommorrow.

A few days later when I caught up with my email there was a congratulatory letter about having received my Masters Qualifications. I look back at all the money that passed me by in the form of surveys over the first few years and just shudder. No scripts, no forum, just a whole BUNCH of penny hits ...

I did some more reading and joined a few forums and started to try some of those hits that only had one available. I had a hard time catching anything except my faithful penny batches ... Then there was a group of young upstarts over at MTG who were making as much or more than I had been making before I retired from Leapforce and I started reading intently and taking notes. I started applying what I was learning, stumbled around some, picked myself back up, dusted off my mouse, got an on-screen keyboard and kept on keeping on.

I make a little money some days and quite a lot more on other days, but at least I am able to do something while hanging around in my hospital bed or wheelchair. I work when I want and when I can't ... Netflix 'R Us ... If it keeps me out of a nursing home I'm good!
