This is my fear. I'm terrified of loud, sudden noises. When I was little I always wanted to go with Daddy when he'd do his gun practice (which was often, he was a cop), but the sound scared the daylights out of me and I'd start crying.

I have not become any better with this. If a balloon pops near me I'll scream my fool head off. If someone "scares" me as a joke by jumping out at me I will literally start crying. It's really, really, really not funny (I've finally convinced people in my life to not do this, that it's not a joke to me...quite the opposite, feels like they're being deliberately cruel).

All that said, I've never had the tubes make more than a small pop when opened, and granted I maybe open a maximum of 3 per year, but still. I just know one is waiting to go off like C-4 due to my completely irrational fear of loud noises/being startled.

 

I didn't have to download a game. Did I just miss that part?
