Hey everyone. I had some catching up to do in my personal life but now am back!

So husband JUST came back from the (only) hospital for an order of an ultrasound and blood work.

He went in masked up - had the ultra sound and then looked at the line out the door of (mostly) elderly unmasked people waiting for labs outside and said - ummm - my risk assessment is: nope. I'll stop in this week and keep checking to see when the safest time is for me to go get my blood drawn.

He came home, put all his clothes in the wash and jumped in the shower.

So... that's the hospital report from Maine. It's pretty much a hot mess.

 

yeah my friend Jena said Maine is pretty much a shit show right now and you guys have a shitton of out of town "visitors" that were running around maskless

 

This is 100% true.

We only have one hospital in the midcoast, which is the one place to get labs, etc... so you have to go there if you need any blood drawn, etc.

It's terrifying.

I was glad husband noticed the line AFTER being inside/checked-in and having an ultrasound, and - decided (his labs aren't life-threatening) to go back.

Morning all! Just spent the past 20 minutes creatively moving all the clutter in my kid's room so it doesn't look so messy when we meet his teacher on Zoom later. So weird.
