Pros:
Fairly quick, mostly easy.

Cons:
The biggest downfall to these HITs is some of the people who asked the question to begin with. Some of their questions are not questions at all, some are just gibberish. If the requester actually checked their HITs and issued rejections, some folks would be in trouble.

Question for whoever wrote the forum software. — (I know those people are not here.)

Why does this forum shrink images that don't need shrinkin'?

Sure it's just one click, but why require a click?
If the image is already small enough to fit, why not display it at full size, without requiring a click to enlarge it?

 

Because xenforo sucks and is from circa 2012 web design.

I told @ChrisTurk that xenforo sucked within a day or so of this forum starting up and it is a bit too late to switch now.

that "sounds in noise" experiment is annoying;
the supposed potential bonus is basically impossible to get 100%,
because some of the sound clips are basically impossible to be sure about.

I mean it's OK to offer that bonus structure, but don't tell workers they have a chance to get 100% when probably NOBODY gets 100%.

I've done several McDermotts and that one was definitely trickier than usual.

I'm OK with it being tricky — was just slightly annoyed by the alleged potential bonus being an amount that I think nobody achieves. — I mean I don't like being lured with a supposed amount of money that NOBODY gets. ... It's OK if only a FEW get it, but in this case I think NOBODY gets the alleged possible (not really possible) max bonus.

I mean like just now I said "TWO SOUNDS" a clip that had a click in the middle of it. — "INCORRECT."
