I can't believe how easy it was to book an appointment for my Pfizer 3rd dose booster after all the hassle back in February. I went on the CVS website and searched for appointments, filled out the information, and was done in less than 5 minutes for an appointment.... on Tuesday.

Did it let you specific it was 3rd dose? My job starting to give Moderna and Pfizer tomorrow after doing J+J for so long. Wonder how many people are going to walk in as 2nd dose appointments just to find out its their 3rd.

 

Sorta. Only those immunocompromised or immunosuppressed qualify for the third dose right now and I believe the rate of eligibility in my state is about 3-4% for the dose. When you schedule the vaccine it has an option for the second dose or an additional third dose. It screens you out if you're ineligible based on the questions you answer. It also warns multiple times that when you arrive for the 3rd dose you have to mention your immunocompromised status and have it confirmed but no proof is required.
