I was offering an alternative, however was not meaning to recommend using the alternative.

 

There is definitely some discretion locally, as in playoff chases, we will get Cleveland games, even if listed as the secondary game (just outside the Cleveland blackout zone). But they want to show off Bob Costas and company on the big games.

So, I need a new external hard drive.

Am I ever really going to need more than 2 TB?

I'm just storing files and photos...lots of photos and videos for the kiddo, files for me, but I need to get it off of my two laptops and onto one place. I have had my current laptop for four years now and still have never moved all the files and photos from the old XP laptop onto this one.

Just realized my old laptop is xp and some might not work with it. But, I have some old HDDs that do work with xp and I might have to do a couple of steps to get all the stuff off of the old laptop.

probably should get on that before it's forever stuck there, lol.

Or take the really slow route and bluetooth transfer between laptops.
