I almost dropped dead in church today. (Not literally, but thought I was gonna have a heart attack LOL) I get up at the end for invitation, sit down at the piano, and preacher says we're gonna sing Hymn #blah blah whatever (I can't remember). That's not the song I practiced, it's not even a song I had ever played before. I was trying to get the sound guy's attention so I could have him play it over the system instead but he couldn't understand what I was saying. I had to sit there and play a song I didn't know in front of all those people. My heart was in my throat. And lo and behold, that's the one song I DIDN'T mess up on.
