I don't know. Sometimes I'm just struck by how we no longer have mid-length words in spoken/written English.
Either people are coming up with horse-hockey forms of words which are way longer than they need to be,
(why would someone refer to another person as being full of 'gracefulness' when they could just say 'grace'?)
or they're reducing multi-syllabic words down to monosyllabic. The latter, admittedly, has been slowly
developing since the prehistoric times when I had a 'Dino' as a pet, and people wanted to shorten messages
for use on 'bulletin' boards, and for storing on cassette tapes. End o' rant, yo!
