That sounds like too much effort. Amazon might reverse the deposit, you might get free money, best thing to do is just wait it out and make a note of how much money you have in your account that you shouldn't spend until it's all resolved.

 

Honestly? It's a glitch. Glitches happen. Sometimes legit big companies direct deposit a paycheck twice. You're just going to have to pay them back or "earn" it off by putting money in the payments to get it out of negative.

Now, it's been a long time since I've done this, but yeah, unless rules have changed Amazon can take that money back out of your account. I used to do this for a credit union I worked for when paychecks would be double deposited. I always had to call the customers first...those were some super fun phone calls.

Would be nice if Amazon would tell you if they're going to do this or if you just need to work off the negative in payments.

I haven't read through the thread so I don't know what's been said. In my case, I see that when I transferred to my Payments account today my negative balance just got a little less negative. I have enough earned but not paid yet to cover the negative balance already. I withdraw daily so my withdrawals are never a ton of money,

They may have to look at things individually and do things on a case-by-case situation. It's Amazon so who the hell really knows? Maybe they'll offer Masters for any inconvenience. LOL
