I work in a research lab and have done some experiments with CBD and stress. Trust me, there is no evidence supporting CBD to be an effective treatment for anxiety or pain. Even in the few trials where CBD has been shown to be effective (like for epilepsy treatment), the doses are so high, you couldn't afford that much CBD oil.

Ok, mTurk time, (since I have it and I've shown I have it this morning by not letting petty stuff drop LOL).

You DO need to look at reviews. The are not the be-all end-all.

A 99% approval rate is for all intents as good as you need.

Doing a huge batch on a terrible Requester who Rejects a mass will tank your Approval rate at your # of HITs.

Chasing Masters is so futile, it's a joke and meme on every board. Don't worry about Approval above 99%, it's considered a matter of Honor among Turkers who get up above 5-figures of HITs.

The number of HITs you will not be qualified for with Approval >99% is non-relevant.

You need to understand the Review system, not take it as a hard guide.

A Gestalt of BOTH TV and TO is essential to good turking.

The #1 thing you can do to improve turking is not TV. It is not TO. It is to hang out on msg boards and participate.

Message boards and in particular the TV system require resources and time, which @ChrisTurk puts into it, we get this for free.

TH is the best Msg Board currently running for mTurk.

There are weaknesses in the system.

You have to decide when to drop the 'irritants' and focus on $$$, and when to take issue.

Sometimes, you just have to take issue regardless of Opportunity Cost or you are a pathetic low-class loser Phone-Bank dipshit.

Here is my "Hierarchy of Care" about the mTurk system, and I make no bones about it:

1. Me.

2. The mTurk userbase in general. This includes QUALITY Turking so that it doesn't drive Requesters away. Consistency is essential, part of Consistency is Honesty.

3. Power Users not affiliated with a message board, TV/TH, or other commercial enterprise. They are the lifeblood of this but fall just below the schmucks like me just trying to turn a dime.

4. @ChrisTurk. Chris provides something for free, in exchange for information. I am willing to contribute things like the blog post because I get a lot of valuable resources here. My take is a distributed take: i.e. a better more knowledgable userbase. Chris's take is a system he can make money from (and he should).

5. Amazon itself. Without the giant faceless merciless Bezomort, we wouldn't be here.

6. Msg Board mods. Hey, someone's got to sweep the trash.

7. Unaffiliated, unpaid, non-mod msg board user fanbois(gyrls). They are the scum of the planet and dwell on the 9th Circle of Hell circling the wagons for any reason whatsoever caus muh cool kids. Kick them at every opportunity. Beat them like red-headed mules. I do, and I am proud of it.
