    Thanks for asking. The plan was to get to Myrtle Beach but we had some car trouble when we hit Charlotte. We had some friends there so just decided to crash there and see 96% covered. Still pretty bright out but fun nonetheless.

    if you feel like either living vicariously or being jealous, I posted back around page 9 or so about my trip. The clouds passed right in time for totality. Quite possibly one of the best moments of my life.

    Myrtle wasn't in the totality anywho so you didn't miss much by not going to Dirty Myrtle! I had a friend who went down to Myrtle for the eclipse and they had to drive out to Columbia to see the totality because Myrtle was at like 98% or something.

    Matt and I hopped in the plane and flew to Greenwood to see the full thing, we almost went to Anderson where @jdzane was but Greenwood had less cloud cover.

    gah! We ended up having a perfect view, you totally should have come anyway! I'm toying with Waco, TX in 2024 if Burlington looks too cloudy
