    Upstate is pretty huge dude. Syracuse and surrounding areas definitely have ride sharing/instacart/doordash/etc and cell service and whatnot. Central NY and the Mohawk Valley are pretty well covered.

    I know western NY, finger lakes area and the southern tier has some really rural counties though, and go north and you're pretty much at the mercy of the mountains, but yeah, upstate isn't entirely made up of farms and dudes who drive jeeps around fields while shooting their guns off in the air ;)

    Oh that's not where I was going with that at all man. I was paying respect lol, I go out there a lot and I was just saying I have a pretty good idea of what REALLY rural places are like, I was just complaining about this place being small even though in the grand scheme it's not tiny :emoji_sweat_smile:

    Every state has their own version of rural hicksville to some degree, I'd say. I love going out to say Albany and hitting the bars and whatnot. I also have some friends who live in their own version of rural hicksville and I love hanging out with them too, both here and in NY :emoji_yum:

    Do you have a Taxi service? Our town is 7,000 people. Nearest "big" city is 1.5 hours away (Portland, ME). We do have a guy who has some cars who charges $5 for a ride anywhere in-town and calls it a taxi :)

    We caught on to the deal and started to use it as delivery take-out service convincing restaurants to put the food in the cab. Now a number of the restaurants that would have had to close do it to supplement curbside. Cab guys love it because it's a easy fare and we tip good!

    Yeah there's actually a pretty decent taxi service in this city, it would just be $60+ to get where I'm going and I'm not trying to break the bank just to get home when I have friends around somewhere etc. Takes me a while to make $60+ on AMT :emoji_joy::emoji_joy:
