Just got an email from you with some feedback (and a bonus, thanks!) and I have a question.
You questioned my likelihood ratings & reasons on one of the images. The shot is from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Viktor Krum, a well known Quidditch player is exercising on the beach and is being followed by a bunch of groupies. I reference him as an athlete, because I didn't figure you had quidditch as a keyword you are trying to teach. My question is....do we ignore what we know from that scene? I mean, if it is a Harry Potter scene I can come up with some great questions and know the actual motives/reasons. But now with you questioning it because he didn't "look like an athlete" I am confused. Without that to fall back on, the hits become a lot harder, especially if it just a shot of Ron Weasley's face looking confused with captions that aren't accurate in the least.

Don't want to answer for him, but he's teaching an AI. The figures that he is using are likely placeholders for actual learning scenarios. I would assume you're supposed to forget who you're looking at and treat it as a neutral social scenario.

Which is what worries me. There is a reason this batch is still sitting over 3k hits. Some of these scenes are just a face. The caption has nothing to do with what is happening. It is really hard to ask and answer three questions about that face if you pretend you don't know Ron just found out his pet rat is actually a creepy human.

 

Marathoning the HP movies when?

 

I would say only only use things you can reasonably assume from the photo. If his face is sad? Say he has come across an upsetting event. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that he's counting the fandom responses you're giving as "too speculative" because someone without the fan powers that you possess wouldn't be able to hit the same answer.

 

oh good question! I would like the likelihood to not be based on the captions ideally, just on the image and what you know about the world I didn't look too carefully at the image myself but yeah if there's something about the image that gives it away then you can mark more likely

Also you're totally right in that a lot of the clips that I have from harry potter movies are not very interesting.

 

...can you be more specific about "know about the world". Because I consider some of my fandom to be something I know about the world.
basically, are pop culture references okay or....

That's a good strategy I'm also totally okay with speculation, just I'd like the likelihood to be the judgment that a random person (who maybe has some harry potter knowledge) would rate it as true

Oh, and also (going back to the earlier question) if it's something like Harry Potter you're welcome to use specific terminology (Quidditch, spells, etc). Unfortunately for that image it didn't have anything super quidditchy that I saw

good question also! Pop culture is fine, particularly if it's about what people are doing (e.g. if someone is dabbing you could say that). However, I do ask that you don't ask about who the actors/characters are (identifying who people are is one of the rare things that AIs are good at )

I agree. I got one earlier that was a boot. Just a boot, with a motorcycle behind it. I'm sorry, I don't have three questions about that scenario, it got tossed back.

 

I have a feeling a lot of the Rowan stuff was just scrapped from Google images.

last night when I took that gym back a teenager in a white truck saw me and creepily ran past me after dropping off their friend/girlfriend.

on my way home from a raid today people got mad I didn'twait for them (I never said I would lol) from a discord, and I think that same white truck from yesterday started following me on the way home. I ended up turning a bunch of weird times and when they kept following me I sped up and lost them.

it was very very weird, and I definitely won't be playing at night late anymore.

 

@rowan I am still feeling uncertain about your hits. Could you please post screenshots of a couple of great responses that you've seen today. Thanks!
