1. your block list won't be included. if you wanted to check that just click "block list" in HF and it'll show you what it's currently filtering out. i don't understand what you're asking in the second half of this question.

When I click the MTS icon on the upper right of my browser there is something called "HF Database" I was wondering what that was for?

I can import my blocklist from HitScraper right?

4. you're not choosing 'pages' to scan at any given time you're scraping the entire site.

Wouldn't this delay the time I have to accept an available hit? In HitScraper it allows me to scan a particular number of pages and how many results per page which helps me cut down on wasted time searching more pages. Wouldn't scraping the entire site take up too much time?

6. unless you raise the min TO setting yeah they're going to show up.

I have been running HIT Finder now for a couple hours and I haven't seen any NO TOS as of yet. Could it be possible that HIT Finder doesn't find NO TOS?


other advice, you should read the wiki if you haven't and if you mouseover the question marks in MTS settings it will clarify more for you. happy turkeying.

I just don't understand why I'm not seeing NO TOS on HIT Finder. I have been running it for a couple hours now but haven't seen not one NO TO.

So from my understanding HIT Finder automatically searches the entire site for hits and you can't change this, but you can change how many hits to retrieve by the size box. Doesn't this waste a lot of time and lower your chances of getting that next hit? When I read about Hit Scraper the functions "number of pages" and "results per page" were there to optimize time so that you did not waste too much time scanning and helped you get to that next available hit quicker.

They scraped out all my meniscus in my left knee, so I have no cushioning at all. So when I walk around a lot, my knee really hurts.

I'm not 100% sure about that question, I feel like just the recent stuff gets searched, not the entire site.

Number of pages was back before mturk allowed you to set your post per a page and is a waste of PREs.

Basically hit finder sets the search to how many hits per a search that you want up to the max of 100.

You don't need to be logged into TO for it to work. Keep reading through the replies lol
