There are still some lucrative closed qual requesters, one posting here now actually. I started turking regularly again in June thanks to them. I was afraid to work a lot on the platform after Amazon held $1400 I earned for 8 months, but finally went for it again after getting tired of other online work.

It took Turkopticon involving a sitting US senator to get our accounts and money back. This issue is more widespread so hopefully that will not be required this time. Also, thankfully they are not holding onto people's money this time.

 

I have made just over $100 and I think that is awesome considering I am doing Mturk along with a wide variety of other avenues and also the fact I have only joined 3-4 months ago. I am learning more and more everyday... In the beginning I had set my daily goal too high so that is why I made my daily goal for 4... I am happy with anything I get over the 4 HITs a day. It may seem like chicken change, but it all adds up... especially when staying afloat right now. Is why I have ventured into multiple avenues that I work on each day on top of online selling marketplaces, because since May, being an online seller has been super, super slow, which I think has to do with inflation and people being afraid to spend a lot right now, which makes sense with holidays fast approaching. Normally this is a busy time of year for me... not in 2024 though..
