I mean, if I wanted to take a bigger office job with full time/more responsibility, I could make comparable to Matt. At one point, I made more money per year than he did because he took a super laid back job restoring an airplane while I was working full time at a nice rate. My health crapped out again and we kinda just decided he would go ham and I would take a step back. It works for us. Engineers typically make a good salary, but they usually don't make quite as much as he does right now lol. He's just a golden boy as always

The absolute worst was when we worked together tho. They gave him my paycheck the first month and tried to negotiation my pay including him, as if he just gets my money or something. He was pretty horrified and backed away from that situation very fast while telling them not to ever include him in my salary conversation/anything to do with my job cause we worked the same place but vastly different jobs. I mean, we had BS like that all the time tho, I wasn't shocked by it.
