This is error I'm almost always met with

my email has stopped working. it has never done that. it won't load for a while and then it has an error message. there is a gremlin in the internet or something.

 

somehow now I can't find the amazon payments website on google. and when I go to payments.amazon.com it changes it to https://pay.amazon.com

it seems like amazon PAY is associated with my regular amazon.com shopping account. amazon PAYMENTS website and account are associated with my mturk account. "pay" and "payments" don't really seem like they are the same thing or interacting with other parts of amazon the same way.

 

that happened to me but when I scrolled up, I saw that I hadn't picked an option that was required. it was a dropdown menu in the contact us form. I hadn't changed it before clicking submit. does that fix it for you?

 

Yeah I’ve noticed mturk and amazon payments reps seem to use the terms ‘amazon payments’ and ‘amazon pay’ interchangeably… I have an email from mturk worker support and they say “amazon pay” in their email…but the error message says amazon payments. Amazon payments calls it “amazon pay” as well…it’s weird.

 

If you click links around the payments page, I've noticed some of them say pay in the address bar. I think it's similar to google wallet/pay

 

So there have been 2 or 3 people here that got unsuspended. Has anyone heard of others that aren't members here?

 

I am hoping there is more that just have not seen it because it's a holiday weekend. And maybe Amazon was waiting to see if it worked for those workers.

 

Evening all, hope you all found something to keep busy with. Still suspended here and unfortunately I don't know anyone personally who Turks. There may be some noise on Reddit though; I may pop over and check.

But at this point after catching up on this thread I think I'm done checking my own account for the night. Hopefully I'll get an email response from Amazon Payments soon regarding the one I sent them earlier.

Nothing really new on Reddit about the situation. looked at 3 threads and saw one person say they had their account restored but that was yesterday.

 

One of the people who was restored has had problems since Wednesday or Thursday. I think it's possible people with issues that have existed longer, who have been contacting them multiple times each day because they were out longer than others were, are the group that's going to get restored first as long as it's on an individual basis and not a system-wide fix. And they also might have had a different issue than what others are having right now as well I guess.

I had the issue that everyone had several days ago, but otherwise, I had no issues thru at least the end of Saturday. I'm not anticipating I'll be restored early on based on that unless they do something like decide to fix certain groups of workers based on some other criteria. I'm going to do my best not to obsessively check. I never expected them to do much before Tuesday because of the holiday, so anything before that for anyone feels like a bonus.

 

Just checked and still getting the stupid “Account set up is not complete
You have additional steps to complete before you can start earning rewards” along with the other one…

 

Question for those whose accounts have been restored.....
Was your bank account listed as VERIFIED or UNVERIFIED during the Amazon Payments Suspension?

 

Good idea! My husband said they should give me an Amazon gift card to make up for my lost wages

 

I got that page on Thursday when I got suspended and was trying to email them and look at my Amazon Payments page!

 

My bank account was still listed as Verified.

 

I just found 2 really old emails about payments from MTurk. You all may still have your own copies, but if not, here you go.
