    So I'm starting to lean more and more that my big rhode island red is a rooster.

    Besides the rooster looking feathers she/he is developing little nubbies on his/her legs so I think it's spurs.

    Great, I'm going to end up with a cross between a rhode island and a sultan/cochin/easter egger/gold laced wyandotte.
