    Now I can was on empty since Thursday. Local news isn't helping by announcing gas shortages every couple of hours. Nitwits and dumb gas stations workers allowing people to fill up external tanks and trash cans.

    This baffles me.. what is he planning on doing with a trash can full of gas? I can't think of an easy/reliable way to siphon that into anything useful (vehicle, generator, his butthole). There's no way the gas stays viable very long like that either, right?

    *looks at Amazon* .. an equivalent container (30gal) is ~$200.. those cans are like $30/ea.. so I guess its a cheaper container but.. idk lol. Looks like a pump siphon is only $10-$20 though.. alright whatever, dude is a genius beyond my level of comprehension, as long as he makes it home without anything sparking nearby.

    The governor already said we have plenty of gas. It also doesn't store well in a trash can because of exposure to air which has lots of water in it ATM moment due to the storms. You would need those air tight plastic barrels they put people in Breaking Bad style.

    The alternative is one bad ass bon fire. Think of the tire fire you could make with all that gas?

    I spent $200 on water and canned goods and snacks. Ordered a rechargeable lantern that you can handcrank to charge it up plus a ton of batteries. I have a Yamaha scooter in my wood shop and 10 gallons of gas for emergencies. Bring it on Grinches!!
