The real task for me is putting the duvet cover back on our old as shit comforter. It may be a little wonky the first couple of nights, but it sorts itself out in the end.

 

So.... still sitting with a negative balance on Payments. Haven't made any transfers into Payments since everything happened. I was hoping to get zeroed out like just about everyone else, but I'm getting nervous having so much sitting on the Mturk side. I think I'm going to just transfer it into Payments tomorrow morning and shrug it off. At worst I got a free loan from Amazon for almost two weeks, it was already my money, and it wasn't a massive amount anyway.

 

Yep. Knew I didn't want to come back to work today.

Bad thing happened over the weekend. A family is now super sad, we have a huge mess (literally) to deal with in a unit, and now the unit is less rentable as it was a death that happened in a unit in a bad way.

Beyond seeing kids living in horrible conditions, this is the hardest/most heart wrenching part of my job, having to help loved ones get access to the stuff and make this time as easy as possible as we can for them while still protecting our owner's rights.

 

All amazon payments or w/e that was supposed to be fixed ages ago.

I guess I slipped through the cracks or something, and I haven't seen anything else about it either.

 

Have you tried calling them?

 

I thought about emailing, maybe I will do that before taking the plunge.

I transferred enough to cover the negative last week, but I also didn't get the goodwill credit or whatever that most other folks got who did that. Maybe they're still working on it? But yeah like you said I already got my money so it's not like they owe me anything.
