    The insurance to me: Don't worry, you have the same coverage for out of network ambulances as in network. You will still only owe 10% before your out of pocket with the ambulance. Your policy will cover the rest.

    Ambulance company: We don't have any in-network rates with insurance ma'am. There's no point in billing them.

    Me: Please bill the insurance. We have coverage for this.

    Ambulance: You probably won't get any coverage ma'am.

    Me: PLEASE BILL THE INSURANCE.

    The insurance: This is why we have the same coverage for all ambulances. You're definitely covered here.

    Ambulance lady: I'll bill your insurance, but you'll probably still owe the full amount.

    Yeah...NOPE. I PROBABLY DEFINITELY DON'T.
