Okay, that does seem like a mild over-reaction, personally, but I get it, I dislike Peanut Butter Cups as well, so, two strikes yer out? Got it. Fair enough.

 

When I was growing up, I used to be able to get 10 boxes for 1.00 for the King Kullen had them on sale. I would literally scour for pocket change and cans for the deposit for that sweet, sweet fake sauce powder. That's the only time we indulged in such a thing as a boxed meal lol. The rest of the time it was like pasta and whatever meat was cheapest at the time. We got less poor over time, so this wasn't as much of a common occurence as I got older, but there were some rough years food wise.

I grew up the same way. We rarely had much food in the house and we usually ate what my mom brought home from the diner. She was a waitress in a greasy spoon. LOL back then spam was cheap though...

That's cause there is only 1 as I found out! They've had multiple offers to buy it and make it a chain, but have always refused. I did a double take when it ended up on tv a few times, cause it was always just that little place that was obscenely popular with locals, but nobody else knew wtf I was even talking about lol. I just for some reason assumed it wasn't the only one in existence and that everyone had at least 1 all-american around somewhere cause...stupid sheltered shit I guess.
