Also: Mine is a work phone, so...we have to have cell phones, and I use it for marketing...take all the pics with it, handle calls when in the field, book appointments, etc. So we stay on AT&T plan and my camera on my 6SPlus is dying. I have to upgrade so I can keep taking marketing photos! (iPhone has its issues, but it takes damn good photos for marketing rentals I will say.)

Work will pay for the base price of the phone, I have to pay for any upgrades (like more storage, which I always get because I never take photos off my phone, lol...)

Work pays the bill, too, more than just my phone on that plan and it's a business plan, so we can't get super cheap plans.

 

True. Since I don't NEED a cell phone, I did away with it. I got tired of having it up to my ear or in my face all the time. My husband has one cause he works and drives for a few hours in the middle of the night. But it's VERY basic.

 

I mean we have smart phones, but I don't pay for internet on mine, I work from home I mean cmon.

Well sure. I mean, I just personally don't like them. But people definitely enjoy having them. I just don't like feeling that something has control over me or is that important, or that I'm going to have a heart attack if it falls in the toilet. Too right. After Ike hit here, I was on the phone in 30 min. talking to a relative in Arizona. All power was out, but the phone co. was out with extension cords and big clips all over the area. Everyone with a landline had service. All those others without were running around looking for charging stations.
