09/14 - Formulated Friday!

I was 185 my entire life from HS till I quit drinking.....launched up to 248 and just a few days ago I am at 202. I want to get back below 200 and I'm good with that. Not trying to impress anyone anymore so a little man tity and a gut is ok.

Plot twist: Matt knows about the ice cream, but he only takes a couple spoon fulls at a time so Bird Person doesn't realize some is missing.

Really? I had so much trouble with my weight when I was drinking (well until the end of it, when I was more worried about getting drunk than eating).

I was worried when I got out I'd have even more trouble with my weight but cutting out the booze its been relatively easy

I think it's just seeing it looping.

 

I basically lived on beer so after I stopped drinking I ate all the things and then ate them again for good measure....like all the things.

It's just a brand that makes a ton of garlicly bread things. It's not that they are saying it's from NY, it's that it's just the brand name and the company was founded in, shocker, NY. They make a bunch of stuff like breadsticks and stuff too. Fwiw, it's tasty for something you pick up for a few bucks in the freezer aisle of your local store. I prefer it over Pepperidge farm (fight me anyone who thinks the opposite-jk. eat what you like).

Matt just doesn't look for stuff really. He glances to see if I have snacks, but even then, he's just liable to ask me and I put his meals and snacks in containers in specific places because he's just not the type of person who knows what is even in the house because he doesn't shop for himself anymore. He knows where I leave his lunch and where I leave Matt approved leftovers and where I store Matt approved snacks (my hiking snacks have a shelf and our very much off limits or I will cut you). He's just someone who isn't gonna be rummaging around.

 

Like an example...if I was Matt "Hey Bird you got any Texas Toast to go with this ice cream I just found..."

 

Also, I've been off of carbs and sugars for about a month now. So, I'd probably eat frozen bread if you gave it to me. But I have lost 15 pounds.

 

I have always loved food and even worked as a cook at night because i loved it so much... I would make awesome meals for my ex and friends...neighbors..shit strangers walking by but I wouldn't eat it and just drink instead.

Quite sad looking back now and all the good I had that I chose alcohol over and it is gone now.....but I truly am in my best place now and am truly happy.

Please make it rain money over the weekend so I can catch up.

I will stop worshiping the heathen new york texas toast for just one big money day.

 

Nah- the best part is that Matt thinks I'm not capable of being tricky. He's convinced he's always the master manipulator and I'm incapable of fibbing at all due to my high anxiety about rule breaking and such, so if I can casually pull something off, he's lost to it. The key has been to just never mention it at all. If I don't say anything to him about the presence of frozen toast, he's not even gonna think about it. If I ever mentioned it in any way, he would immediately know I was up to something.

I also once convinced him I was using a blatantly empty toothpaste tube for like 2 months. He was SO MAD, and kept trying to throw it away and arguing about how I clearly wasn't using enough toothpaste. He's always pulling my leg some way, and I so rarely get the chance to return the favor- when I do, it's usually pretty funny how much it annoys him.

He is , in fact, much sneakier than I am.
