At least the Mets are actually good every 5 years or so! Though, when the Mets and Clemson lost the World Series/National Championship in the same year, I was just super pissy.

To all of you that suffer from, boy my favorite team sux, there is always hope. For years I had the Red Sox and Bruins break my heart and a football team that was a laughing stock but fortunes can change and being a fan of a New England team is no longer a joke. Good luck to all of you and your teams.

 

I had his MacFarlane action figure next to all of my hockey ones. You KNOW I mean business when anything non-hockey infiltrates my hockey display.

The first year I started following baseball and picked the Yankees as my team (I was from CT, I could have gone either NY or BOS) was the year Boston defeated New York in the world series to end their 86 year drought.

And a few months later, my first hockey season ended with the Rangers failing to get to the playoffs for the 7th straight year, and becoming a decade cupless.

I 've learned I'm a jinx for sports teams and have decided to just enjoy our individual wins when I can, and not expect anything more.

I'm thinking of becoming a Flyers fan....I think the Hubby would be both thrilled and disgusted..
