I don't think A9 rejects. I did 1k hits the other day, and didn't realize until like 100 deep I was doing something wrong. All still got approved.

 

They have rejected in the recent past. Lucky you though.

Yeah, it sucks. Sometimes you can feel differently about a question if it's asked in a different way. Hopefully you can get it overturned.

 

Thanks, I will update if it is. I mean, that is what he claims I did, but I just explained that I answer each individual question as honestly as possible according to how it is worded. It is always possible I misread one as well, so I asked for clarification. I don't like the "give me your ip address" thing, there was a sense of them thinking I'm a bot, I would never run a bot as slow as me. But live and learn, new requester.

 

they rejected some of mine about 3 months ago. and some other people's more recently, and before then. I haven't had any rejections since that 1 batch about 3 months ago.

 

Well lets hope I didn't completely mess myself up doing them then since I have never prior.

 

don't focus on it. 99% approval rating is 99% approval rating. The small numbers don't matter. You're going to get rejections on mturk if you're doing work for tons of people. It's a part of the platform.

 

They spot reject known attention questions. They don't do it a lot. You'll still come out way ahead with them numbers-wise.

 

They didn't reject mine but they do reject though.

 

Yeah, just have to get used to it. I had only 1 for the longest, then I hit 10k and 2 in a little over a month. I have a cushion. Just need to be aware of new req's and iffy hits. I don't mind getting one if I screw up, well, you know what I mean.

Yeah, just when things like CI's are up, do as many of them as you can and get that padding. I have so much padding nowadays that I couldn't honestly care less about some jerk survey requester's rejection anymore.

 

I'm trying to recover from the Synapse debacle so for me rejections really matter right now.

A9s do for sure reject. 28 of my 31 rejections are A9s. They use to reject way more often when they would rate within hours or while you are even still doing them. Rejections stink, but if you feel you are doing them incorrectly, re-read the instructions and try again. Don't start off on Mturk seeing what you can get away with by saying "Oh they don't reject I can mess up." Any HIT can reject at any time and will likely reject eventually if you continue to do it incorrectly.
