I like a good thigh....

 

I'll have to try and find a photo in storage the next time I'm there, cause my hair do growing up was a frizzy afro that I shoved down under a handkerchief and I looked INSANE. I then just went to flat ironing my hair every day of my life (it's always trying to back to its natural state lol) and I had such crap self condfidence about it. The day I realized I didn't have to look like a deranged poodle was a game changer for me.

She may have moved, but at least she taught me how to do my hair before she left! She deserved all the huge tips, cause girl gave me a boost in my confidence/taught me to actually love my own hair that is priceless.

 

Growing up I just had braids most of the time because my mother didn't want to deal with it, I didn't want to deal with it, and no one else wanted to deal with it. Now it's easier to just cut it off when it gets too long.

 

ugg, I envy people who's hair always dries the same way, what would it be like to have hair that doesn't have mood swings. I once had the absolutely best product that guaranteed my hair would always curl perfectly and it was sold at the local pharmacy - bonus. I moved 25 miles away and the pharmacy there did not sell it so I would drive back to the old one and stock up. Then they discontinued it. 14 years later I have yet to find and adequate replacement

My problem was that my mom wasn't really around and that my dad/sister/all the other women around me had pin straight hair and I was the only one who was a dead ringer for my mom's entire family. I flat out look adopted lol.

I'm pretty sure @Buntastic has seen pics of my sister/dad and can confirm that I look like I was baby napped or something, to the point my doctors assumed I was adopted when I was hospitalized.

I bet you look good no matter what you do with your hair tho!...I just cannot pull off a bad hair do.

 

Matt thinks it's hysterical when I have to pull out a curling wand to fix a couple random sections of my hair that didn't dry quite right and look different from the rest. My hair doesn't always do exactly what I want, but at least I can style it now without having some monstrosity going on.

The discontinued product thing tho- YEAH WHY DOES THAT ALWAYS HAPPEN. We can cry together. It's not fair.

 

Hopefully the new place is a lot better and then you can take your time looking for what you really want!
