    it really is. after i quarantined that room, i saw a small fuzz ball of dog hair and i jumped about 10 feet because of course i thought the spider followed me. then my hair touched my arm and of course my heart stopped. right now, everything is that spider and i just want it to go away.

    Oh man, I get super jumpy too when anything touches me after I've seen a spider. This is no help to you right now, but my bug zapper is a life saver for me. (although I'm not sure how it would work on really big spiders)
