    STORY TIME

    a requester says "do not discuss anything about this study" and promise a maximum of $3 bonus based on performance.

    This polar bear checks TV and sees everyone got the bonus of $3 anyway. This polar bear realizes that the bonus does not depend on performance and will be given anyway at the end of study. So this polar bear does not try hard while doing the study and gets the $3 bonus anyway.

    Nobody discussed the content of the study on TV but it affected the requester study. The requester is unhappy. This polar is happy with her bonus though.
