Are there other studies similar to this? It's great that Turkprime has done a study to figure out the bot scare, but I feel like they did it either to keep their business safe or to say that they're a reliable company so people would switch to their services. Other than that, I like how they went into the details to understand the entire situation.

That's what was happening to me when I lived in Plano, TX. I had this little studio apartment and it was $540 a month and I went to renew my lease. They wanted me to reverify my earnings, so I gave them my stubs, but I had gotten a second job, so I made too much for them to renew my lease. I had to move up to a one bedroom and pay twice as much. I asked them about it and they told me it's just the way things are done.

I only wanted to sign another half year lease because I was trying to save as much money as possible. I needed a new car at that time and didn't want another $500 going to rent. They just ended up losing my business.

That area had some issues with only having about 3 companies own all the apartment complexes. I'm pretty sure they were working in collusion to drive up prices.
