If there is an acestream link you can use Ace Player. It's a VLC fork for playing torrent streams. You can set it up kodi/xbmc, but it requires like three apps to work.

I only use it as a standalone program.

Buffstreams' streams doesn't usually have ads past once you first open it, just fullscreen it on another monitor
