The spaceport is there since it's the middle of nowhere, no humidity in the desert, nobody around to annoy with their shit, privacy, etc. The town itself is just sketch-a-roo and we moved up the mountain for a reason! Ah well, the house is bigger than our apartment, it has a garage for matt's shit, and I finally have first world things like a washer-dryer and office space again! The development itself is fine, it's a few miles from town and almost entirely spaceport employees, but if you go a few miles down the road...well, don't fucking walk there lol. Just so many break ins tho, there's a solid chance I come back from a hike to find my shit gone one day. I'm not worried about when I'm home, because Skeeter is the finest 4 legged security system this side of the mississippi and I have a 0 tolerance for bullshit house rule.
