@tylerindycolts also, I'll say this at the expense of possibly sounding like a dick. It seems like maybe you don't actually need the PC, and are just doing it as a crutch to possibly force yourself to actually work.

Perhaps there's something mental you can do to give you the drive to work, while still using your laptop. Maybe set goals or relaxing music. Work til your favorite album from your favorite band is finished playing, etc... That kind of stuff. It'll save you a few hundo.

Nah you don't sound like a dick. I kind of just like the thought of having one area to just do the work and leave it. I'm working on an old laptop now that's on borrowed time, and since I make pretty good money at my normal job I just consider a couple hundred bucks a good investment for my Mturk side job. I am trying to save all my Amazon money over the next year I want to just have a dedicated mturk machine for all that stuff.
