    Its why a lot of the surveys have 50 questions to verify you're real like attention questions the I'm not a bot and pick pictures stuff. There was a big article on it a month or 2 ago I think.

    It didn't but a lot of requesters think it did.

    In early August there was an article about the "bot problem" on mturk (which Prolific gleefully started using as basically propaganda) and now we're all in reCaptcha hell despite a lovely demonstration by TurkPrime that it's not bots, it's non-native English speakers causing the problem (which reCaptchas help exactly zero with).
