Matt bought me my favorite pair of heels and just about the only pair I can wear all night, It made me feel like a fail whale. Still no idea how he did that, but I strongly suspect it's because of his creepy notebook.

Ugh, been doing real work stuff this morning. Looks like I didn't miss a lot.

Who's the expert on office chairs? Looks like I'm getting a new one, and, at this point, don't have a budget. Thoughts?

I don't know much past an internet baseline but I hear people like steelcase chairs. I do not suggest getting one of those 'gamer' chairs as they are overpriced even if they are okay you can get better for the same amount of money.

edit: by gamer char I mean dxracer chairs. You pay a gamer tax on them and it isn't worth it.

Find any chair. If it's too stiff - gain weight for additional cushion. If it's too soft, eat a healthy breakfast and take a jog around the block.

Yeah, Steelcase has come up a lot in my searches. As well, as Herman Miller.

    Perfect advice.

For some reason I can't see the pic.

EDIT: Don't know if I want to

As someone that has worked for Steelcase for 15+ years they are over priced as well as herman miller but they both have really good products with great warranties.

Do you recommend something else? I live in a small town and really don't like the idea of buying a chair without sitting in it.

I did go to Staples and sat in one of the Temper-Pedic chairs and it was actually pretty good.

If you can find a Steelcase chair on craigslist at a decent price, the best chair they have is the Leap as far as a daily user very comfortable and adjustable buying new from a Steelcase dealer will cost you 600 plus. The next best is the Amia also very comfortable but not as adjustable. The thing that I have noticed about the Temper-Pedic chairs is they don't last IMO. As far as suggestions on other products I can't really say I have had a leap for about 8 years and it was used for a while before I got it and it is still great.
