Yup. I'm already just $2 shy of my Friday goal, so might as well keep on keepin' on.

 

Got a few bills coming due, gotta register (which means paying the sales tax) and insure the truck next week, and I've had to take a couple days off from serious balls-to-the-wall Turking while doing the brakes since I can't sit kneeled down on a stool, nor flat on the floor, for very long without my leg swelling up like a water balloon.

Had to do rear brake lines last fall-ish. There's a rubber hose near the axel to keep tension off the lines, which is 3/8", new wheel cylinders are 10mm. So I had to cut two brand new lines, put new fittings on them, and flare them, hoping it goes right the first time (SPOILER - it didn't). Because, GM, I guess. My hats off to you and the brake struggle, because I am very aware, that struggle is real. Good luck!

This was just the pads/rotors and shoes. Already had to do the rears on my dad's Jeep in Jan., but that was easier since we were replacing the whole axle. I used up my whole years' worth of automotive frustration on that one. Plus, I hadn't had a massive chunk cut out of my leg yet.
