I'm far from an expert when it comes to monitors, but is there really an important difference between G-Sync and Adaptive Sync? Btw, I'm on a 2070 with 9900k rocking a good old BenQ 24" 1080p 60Hz display.

 

Adaptive sync is an open standard that can work on Nvidia, AMD, and even intel GPUs. G-Sync for the most part is the same but only works on nvidia GPUs.

Not with the new stuff. G-sync has an advantage at the super high end mostly because manufactures have bothered to make high end stuff. I'm talking about the $1500 monitors that have the specs of those monitors but with proper HDR.

This is a pretty marginal build. Every part, with the exception of the power supply, could and probably should be upgraded.

Don't buy that MOBO IMO. I returned mine, MSI is a shitshow w/ the B450 as of 2(??) mo ago. Maybe RA knows better now idk
