    He's right about that. Pour some bleach down it... let it set for a few then run hot water for a few. Especially on drains in bathrooms you don't use much. Sewer stank can be a thing.

    The smell is no where near any drains but I'll go clean those out. Septic is healthy and doing it's thing. Might be the trash can in that area. I realized we haven't cleaned the physical can itself in a while.

    possibly stagnant water where a sump pump should be pumping it out but motor burned out or gfi outlet stopped it from running or whatever.

    IT's the can. Holy shit. Someone spilled something that looks like cream in the bottom of it. Holy shit that just made it so much worse. brb tossing this Grinch in the yard with some bleach and a water hose. I'm gagging.
