10/17 - Wizard Wednesday!

I just hate it when they don't tell you everything that comes on a burger/tacos/etc. Like, this place we go to puts guac and lettuce and tomatoes on every single taco. It doesn't say so anywhere and they never told us. I asked for no lettuce, just assuming, but had NO IDEA it would come with guac (also makes me turn into a human rash) and I was SO PEEVED because that's not exactly pick-offable.

I just ask now and some places look at me like I'm a full on idiot for being paranoid something else might be on my food, but I prefer to not be semi-poisoned by my damn meals lol.

 

Egg. Fried egg on a burger. A-MAZ-ING. In New Zealand you can go into a McDonald's and order a burger with an egg on it, that's how ubiquitous it is. My wife (American born) never remembered this when we lived there. She was constantly kicking herself when we got burgers and hers came with a fried egg

Well, nuts, now I feel insensitive. I mean, it's not like you're @dan or @Randomacts or @ThisPoorGuy. I like you.

 

Lettuce suck get that shit off my burger. Caramelized onions are fine and ketchup or bbq sauce with a bit of cheese.

But no lettuce.

 

gotta have that lettuce crunch. ITS ABOUT TEXTURE.

 

I got tired of paying for a "full burger" when my kid would say, "Cheesburger, ketchup only". Like, can you discount me if it doesn't have allthethings?

One day he said "Cheeseburger, ketchup only" and the person asked, "Do you want cheese also?" Kid was all, um...yeah...and ketchup, and the meat, and the bun....

Now it's a joke at home. "Do you want cheese with that cheeseburger/grilled cheese/quesadilla..."

 

Burgers are probably the only thing I prefer iceberg over romaine on. Gotta love that crunch.

 

I could put some broken glass in your burger if you want texture.

I think it's cheaper just to order the sausage mcmuffin with a side of egg patty thing
