    Does anyone else get nosebleeds when the seasons change? I always have one or two when we go hot to cold and cold to hot. It's usually preceded by a terrible headache.

    It's a chemical cauterization. I had it done when I was about 12 because I was getting multiple nosebleeds a week. It reduced them but didn't stop them completely. They've gotten less frequent over time but I still get them occasionally. I never could get used to the feeling of sticking ointment up my nose.
