    Thank you! For me it's more about getting in touch with my Scottish / Irish ancestry. Samhain is basically just the original version of Halloween; even Jack-O-Latern's are a modern day version of celebrating! So far my plans include making a sweet potatoes (root vegetables and all the associated spices in one: win-win), going on a walk to think about loved ones, burn candles, etc. Which means doing all that while watching spooky movies.

    TLDR; I've always been the weird kid thinking Halloween was like my Christmas and it's basically The Witches New Year.

    Some people can even get those Halloween cauldrons they sell to start a fire in the case they cannot get access to an actual bonfire, too, and can write down / throw away whatever problem they've been holding onto and essentially burn it away in the comfort of their home. Modern day solutions.
