10/22 - Slamming Sunday!

I run Linux, and Inquisit doesn't like that, so I never do those HITs. I know there are workarounds, but I am too lazy to figure them out/execute them.

From what I hear anyway, people don't seem to like those HITs.

 

I didn't see the original writing batch, only the check batch that was up a few days ago and today. I didn't think they had passed the quals out yet since nothing is approved and still has a couple days to go on AA.

Was wondering about the majority rules, I'm usually not a huge fan of that. Too easy for speed clickers and scammers to screw people over. Hopefully with the quals that won't happen. Even if I do get the qual I probably won't be doing huge batches of them. I did 20 today and my brain felt like it wanted to melt. A batch of 50 and I would have been a babbling idiot before I was finished.

 

I have no problems with inquisit on pc, but I did have to buy a new keyboard from pressing my e and i keys so much I wore the letters off the damn keys!

 

Same. Mint 18.1. I don't even bother with anything that has Inquisit.

 

Have there been non-qualled HITs today? I've only seen qualled ones.

I haven't tried 18.2 yet. Planning a new Ryzen system at the end of November, saving it for that because I don't feel like starting completely over on my laptop now then doing it a second time then.

I've done 10 and looking at the other 10 in my que. I was down to do these as he has been talking to me for a few days and seemed like a decent guy (still does).

However "majority rules" means I will be returning the rest in my que and backing away from these all together. I saw too many questions I wrote last week and have a feeling this batch determines whether my last batch approves.

I was burned bad on a "Majority Rules" batch my first week turking years ago.

And 22 rejects was a hard lesson for me to learn.


I really don't know... i'm going to email him and ask.

I'm going to suggest stripping the qual as opposed to rejecting the hits.

The main draw to try to get the qual (other than another closed qual) was that he said right in the HIT that all would be approved. I'm sure that won't apply once the real work starts. Pulling the qual instead of rejecting would be much better. With the almost non-existent TO I wouldn't have touched them at all if he hadn't said that.
