That reminds me... I need to update my MAL.

 

My favorite thing about this forum is how it transforms throughout the day from serious work, to WebMD, to StackOverflow, to /r/tattoos, and then to Weebville. All in 24 hours.

 

I've seen over 2000 anime. How can I not turn anything I touch into Weebville?

 

I don't even know how to do that.

lol I haven't seen nearly that many but I've seen a decent amount. I also didn't start watching anime until about 4ish years ago so

 

Ah, gotcha. I really depend on bulking up my friends list because when you've seen as many anime as me it's hard to find new anime to watch that doesn't suck haha. I rely on comparing ratings between my friends to see what should be next.

I prob have shit taste but I just rate things on if I enjoy them or not and don't care about how much the community likes it.

Casually watched from 2006-2010, then I went nuts, then calmed down a little around 2013 once I finished my Master's program and started working full-time. So I get you there.

 

No that's exactly why I go off friends list and not community averages. ;-)

 

We have the EXACT same scores for Future Diary and the OVA lol.

Steins Gate is the only Anime out of 2,000+ we've both watched that you've given a perfect score to, and you didn't even like the "mad scientist" clip I posted yesterday?!

 

Is there a good place to look over recently released anime and decide what's worth watching? I used to use Anime Vice's seasonal guides, but they shut down a few years back and that's more or less when I stopped watching anything new.
