a lil off-topic, but anyone else on prolific.co as well? it's just universities doing studies and paying out, as opposed to anyone hiring humans for any microtask, and it probably doesn't pay nearly as well to some of the veterans here, but i like to use it when mturk is occasionally dry.

plus it has an interesting disadvantage i find useful: the best way they can cash out is to paypal, and paypal refuses to link with my local bank, so i just use all my earnings for it to buy bandcamp albums / merch instead. this would probably piss anyone else off, but as a music nut it fits oddly enough for me

edit: plus, the pickings seem to be a lot better than mturk for non-US / non-north americans
